LNSA Boss Bags Security Image Maker Award

The General Manager of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA), Prince Dr. Ifalade Oyekan, has been named the Security Image Maker for the Year 2022 by Supreme International Magazine.

 

Receiving the Award at the presentation ceremony held recently at the Golden Gate Restaurant, Ikoyi, the General Manager, Prince Dr. Ifalade Oyekan dedicated the Award to the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the staff of LNSA.

 

Oyekan said Governor Sanwo-Olu has been very supportive of LNSA by ensuring the turnaround of the Agency from being a small outfit into an effective and efficient security organisation capable of providing safety to all Lagosians in the nooks and crannies of Lagos State through its intelligence-gathering operations and activities.

 

The General Manager also thanked all members of staff of the Agency for their immense contribution to the security of lives and property of residents, urging them to continue to be committed and dedicated to the statutory responsibilities of the agency.

In his words: “Without the vision, direction and support of Mr. Governor, we could not have done this much. So, it is just natural to dedicate this Award to him and the members of his team for their constant guidance and support which have brought us this far. I must also recognise the contribution of the LNSA staff who have demonstrated great courage and commitment in carrying out the onerous tasks of keeping Lagos State safe”.

 

The Publisher of Supreme International Magazine, Mr. Friday Etim John, said the event, which is the second edition, is aimed at giving recognition to Nigerians who have distinguished themselves in their fields of endeavour adding that the recipient, Prince Oyekan, has distinguished himself through the total turnaround of the fortunes of LNSA under his enviable leadership.

 

Other dignitaries present at the occasion include Seyi Akinwunmi, Chairman, Lagos State Football Association; CSP Oluwatoyin Elizabeth Opadola, DPO Alausa Police Station and Mr. Apena Biliaminu, Provost Marshal and Head of Monitoring and Surveillance Unit, LASTMA Headquarters among others.
