The General Manager, LNSA, Prince (Dr.) Ifalade Oyekan, has charged the Corps officers to be more committed and diligent to their work in line with their scheduled duties in order to improve service delivery.
The GM gave the advice during the distribution of security gadgets and a meeting with the five Divisional Commanders, Zonal coordinators and Corps Superintendents of the agency at the Safety Arena Headquarters of the Agency at Oshodi, Lagos.
Oyekan counseled the officers to carry out their respective responsibilities diligently and within the ambit of the law, urging them to always display a high level of professionalism and composure while relating with the people.
According to him, the security gadgets distributed to corps officers were purchased in line with Mr. Governor’s vision of a Greater Lagos and must be used wisely, properly and with caution as they were purchased with taxpayers’ money hence the need to safeguard the kits.
Oyekan thanked Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos State for his continued support and vision of a greater Lagos, while he opined that the security gadgets being distributed were for the safety of the corps officers in times of trouble.
The security gadgets distributed to the corps officers from the various commands included new sets of Bodyworn Cameras, Garret Super Scanners/Metal Detectors and Teasers/Chokers.
