The 2026/2027 LSFA State League got up to a flying start on April 21 with a pulsating 2-2 draw between Team 360 FC and Chekas Feeders FC in what can be described as a befitting opening shot.

Other interesting fixtures soon followed both in the Atlantic and Mainland conferences in the league to unleash a glimpse of what is expected this season in the competition.

Unizee FA, who were at home, played out a 3-3 draw with Utmost FC in their first game this season in the Mainland conference. Other results in week one in the conference saw defending champions, Arubinjaga FA defeat Ibeju Lekki United 2-1 at home. The game between Prodigy FC and AMA Smile FC also ended in a 2-2 draw while the match between Top FC and FC Brave SL finished in a 3-0 whitewash of the home team, Top FC. In the final game in that conference, Valour 1107 FC and Tuto Atlanta FC ended 0-0.

Meanwhile, Young Strikers FC got beaten 2-0 at home by Ecas FA in a shocking result in the Atlantic conference. FC Gemstone also lost by the same result of 2-0 in their home to Hephzibah SC, while Bucknor FC equally fell 2-1 at home to Emajus FC. Power of De Cross SA defeated Olufunke FA by 1-0 to complete the fixtures in the Atlantic conference.

Fixtures for Week 2 have Tuto Atlanta squaring up against Unizee FC while FC Brave SL will tackle Arubinjaga FA. Ibeju Lekki United will face Prodigy FC while Utmost FC and Top FC will do battle. AMA Smile FC will lock horns with Valour 1107 FC in the last fixture in the Mainland conference.

In the Atlantic conference, Chekas Feeders, who were away in their first match of the season, will this time have a home fixture against Bucknor FC. While Olufunke FC will entertain FC Gemstone in another promising duel. Emajus FC will have Team 360 FC as their special guests. Ecas FC will face Power of De Cross SA while Hephzibah SC and Young Strikers will round up the week 2 fixture in the Atlantic conference.
