Man, 20, Docked For Attempting To Lure Neighbour’s Girl,15, Into S*x

A 20-year old man, Obasi Ebere, has landed in trouble in Lagos State for allegedly touching his neighbour’s 15-year old girl in order to lure and seduce her into having a sex romp but the girl resisted and exposed him.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the suspect, Ebere has been arrested. 

The incident happened at Segun Matanmi Street, Akesan area of Lagos State, where they reside.

According to Police sources, the suspect, Ebere, on 22nd April, 2022, attempted to lure the girl into having sex by touching her breasts in order to get her confused and engage in the act. 

However, the whole plan failed after the girl raised an alarm and informed her parents. Her parents, who did not take the suspect’s action lightly, went to Igando Police Division and reported the assault on the girl. 

The Police moved into action, arrested Ebere and detained him at the station for interrogation. After interrogation, the Police found him culpable for harassing her sexually. 

He was subsequently charged before the Ogba Magistrates Court for the alleged offence.

When he was arraigned, he pleaded not guilty. 

The prosecutor, Inspector Lucky Ihiehie, then asked the Court to give a date for hearing since he pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that he actually committed the alleged offence. 

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O.A. Layinka, granted him bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum. 

He was remanded in custody pending when he will perfect his bail conditions while the matter was adjourned till 7th June, 2022, for mention.
