Man, 23, Docked For Attempting To  Seduce Girl, 15, For Sex After Fondling Breasts

A 23-year old man, Olajide Oduayo, has landed in trouble in Lagos State for attempting to seduce a 15-year old girl by fondling her breasts in order to lure her into sex and it backfired in the process.

 

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the victim resisted, raised alarm and Olajide Oduayo was arrested and consequently charged before the Court for his alleged conduct against the victim.

 

The incident happened on 27th day of November, 2025, at Abule Valley Maryland, Ikeja Lagos.

 

According to the Police,  the suspect lured the victim to his apartment and fondled her breasts in order to lure her into sex but the victim resisted and later informed her parents about what happened.

 

The matter was reported to the Police at Ikeja Division. The Police operatives moved into action, arrested the suspect and detained him at the station for interrogation over his alleged conduct.

 

After rounds of interrogation,  the Police found him culpable and charged him before the Ogba Magistrate Court for the alleged offence.

 

The charge read:

“That you, Olajide Oduayo ‘m’, on the 27th day of November, 2025 at about 1945hrs at Abule Valley, Maryland, Ikeja Lagos, in the Ikeja Magisterial district, did attempt to defile the victim, age 15yrs old and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under Section 262 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State 2015.”

 

However, he pleaded not guilty.

 

The prosecutor, Inspector Lucky Ihiehie, asked the Court to give a date for hearing since he pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that he actually committed the alleged offence.

 

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. M.O. Tanimola, adjourned the matter and ordered his remand in custody at the correctional center at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending the outcome of legal advice from the DPP, which will determine if he will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
