According to the Police, the suspect had a disagreement with the complainant over an undisclosed matter, which led to exchange of words. And in the process,  the suspect picked a bottle, broke it on her head and used it to stab her hand.

The complainant was said to have bled profusely and was rushed to an undisclosed hospital for treatment while the matter was reported to the Police at Shasha Division. The Police moved into action, arrested and detained him at the station for interrogation over his alleged conduct against the complainant.

The Police found him culpable after thorough interrogation and charged him before the Ejigbo Magistrate Court for the alleged offence which attracts several years of imprisonment.
