P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Foremost Lane, Ebunoth Estate, Mende, Maryland area of Lagos, where they reside.
Police alleged the suspect to have lured the girl into his apartment, forcefully removed her pant, then penetrated and in the process injured her.
The dastardly act was exposed by the girl, who informed her parents what happened and the matter was reported to the Police in the area.
The suspect was trailed and eventually arrested. He was later transferred to the Gender Section of the Command for interrogation over the act.
After interrogation at the Gender Section, the Police found him culpable and subsequently charged him before the Ogba Magistrates Court for the alleged offence.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. M.O.Tanimola, ordered his remand in custody pending the outcome of DPP’s advice and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send it to DPP.
The matter was adjourned till 10th December, 2021, for the availability of DPP’s report, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
