A 30-year old man, Aliyyullahi Obasanmi, has landed in trouble in Lagos after he allegedly lured a 15-year old girl, engaged her in sex and he was caught.P.M.EXPRESS reports that the suspect, Obasanmi has been arrested.
The incident happened at Araromi Phase 1, Alagbado area of Lagos, where they reside.
The Police alleged that the Obasanmi lured the girl into his apartment, confused her with words of mouth and engaged her in the romp.
However, it leaked and the girl claimed that she was lured into the act without her consent as such she was raped.
The matter was then reported to the Police and the Obasanmi was arrested.
Having been found culpable after thorough interrogation, he was charged before the Ogba Magistrates Court for the alleged offence.
The Court did not take his plea after the prosecutor, Supol Bisi Ogunleye, asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice due to the nature of the matter.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. E. Kubeinje ordered his remand in Correctional Centre at Kirikiri town, Lagos, without an option of bail.
The Court directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP for advice while Obasanmi will remain in custody pending the outcome of the DPP’s report.
The matter may likely be transferred to the High Court over jurisdiction if the DPP’s report finds him culpable for the alleged offence.
