Man, 32, Arrested For Posting Lady’s Nude Pictures On Social Media

A 32-year old man, Adebayo Olayemi Wasiu, has been arrested in Lagos State for allegedly posting his lady friend’s nude pictures on the social media for not giving him money, which he had requested after a sex romp with her.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened on 3rd June, 2023, at Emokaro Street, off Governor’s Road, Ikotun area of Lagos State.
The lady, Zainab Badmus, reportedly suffered shock after she saw her nude pictures posted on social media by Wasiu over her inability to give him the money he had requested from her.
The suspect, Wasiu, was said to have picked her nude pictures from her phone while they were having sex without her knowledge and thereafter started using it to extort money from her.
He had already extorted the sum of N670,000 from her over threat to upload the pictures on the social media if she fails to send money to him. Apart from obtaining money from her,  she would as well engaged him in sex romps in order to please him.
On the particular day the incident happened, Waisu was said to have demanded certain amount from her and she told him that she had no money to give him. That got him angry and he uploaded the pictures on the social media.
The matter was reported to the Police at Idimu Division. Waisu was trailed, eventually arrested and detained at the Police Station for interrogation over his alleged conduct.
After thorough interrogation, the Police found him culpable and subsequently charged him before the Ejigbo Magistrates Court for conspiracy, conduct likely to cause breach of public peace and stealing.
He pleaded not guilty when he was arraigned.
The prosecutor, Supol Benedict Aigbokhan, then asked the Court to give a date for hearing since he pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that he actually committed the alleged offence.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. K. A. Ariyo, granted him bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum, who must show evidence of means of livelihood and tax payment.
The matter was adjourned for mention while the defendant was remanded in custody at the Correctional Centre at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending when he will perfect his bail conditions.
