A 32-year old man, Ejiofo Ude, has landed in trouble after he allegedly lured a
13-year old girl into his apartment in Lagos, sucked her breasts, fingered her private
part which made her lose control and he eventually engaged her in sex.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Taiwo Ajala Street, New Oko-Oba area of Lagos, where they reside.
However, it got exposed after the victim, having realised what had happened, raised alarm and told her parents that she had been raped by the suspect, Ude.
The
matter was reported to the Police at New Oko-Oba Division; Ude was arrested and
detained at the Station for interrogation.
During interrogation, Ude reportedly admitted that he sucked her breasts,
inserted his finger into her private part but that she did not resist all his
attempts and he continued with hope that she liked it as he too enjoyed it.
He denied that he raped her and told the Police that he was unable to penetrate
her private part but only satisfied his sexual desire with her bom.
The Police found him culpable and subsequently charged him before the Ogba
Magistrates Court for the alleged offence and the Court ordered his remand in
prison custody.
The prosecutor, Supol Benson Emerhi, asked the Court to refer the matter to the
DPP for advice in order to determine if the matter will be transferred to the
High Court over jurisdiction.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O. Sule-Amzat, ordered the defendant to be
remanded and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP
for advice.
