Man, 33, Fondles Breasts, Lures Girl, 15, Into Sex

A 33-year old man, Adebisi Abiodun, has landed in trouble in Lagos after he allegedly lured a 15-year old girl into his apartment, fondled her breasts, got her confused and penetrated her.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Palace Road, Amikanle area of Alagbado, Lagos, where they reside.

It was gathered that the suspect, Abiodun, allegedly engaged the victim in sex romp by using words of mouth to cajole her before he gradually moved his hands to her breasts, she became confused, he then removed her pant and penetrated her.

However, after the act, the victim realised what happened and claimed that she never consented to it and that she was raped.
The matter was reported to the Police and Abiodun was arrested and later transferred to the Gender Section of the Police Command.

During interrogation, the suspected admitted that he penetrated her but with her consent contrary to the victim’s claim that he had sex with her by deceit and inducement.
The Police found him culpable and later charged him before the Ogba Magistrates Court for rape, which attracts several years of imprisonment if he is tried and convicted before the Court.
The prosecutor, Mr. Christopher John, asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice because the victim was a minor.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mr. P.E Nwaka, did not take his plea and ordered that he should be remanded in prison custody pending the outcome of the DPP’s advice.
The Court also directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP for advice while the defendant will remain in prison custody pending the outcome of the DPP’s report. The matter was adjourned till 15th October, 2019.
