Man, 33, Rapes Neighbour’s 12-year Old Daughter

A 33-year old man, Mr Frank Eze has landed in serious trouble after he lured his neighbour’s 12-year old daughter and engaged her in a sex romp in Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Oluduku Street in Satellite Town, Lagos where the victim’s parents and the suspect resided.

It was scooped that Eze lured the victim to his apartment, reportedly confused her and engaged her in a romp. She was asked not to tell her parents or anyone else and promised to be taken care of in as much she kept the secret between them.
However, their neighbour who had observed what had been going on between the victim and the suspect revealed it to her parents who confronted the victim and she opened up.

The matter was reported to the police, Eze was arrested and detained at the police station. P.M.EXPRESS gathered that Eze admitted that he had carnal knowledge of the victim but he did not force her as claimed by her parents.

However, the police found Eze culpable and charged him before Ikeja Magistrates court for defilement.

He pleaded not guilty.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. B.O. Osunsanmi granted Eze bail in the sum of N300,000 with two sureties in like sum.
The court also directed the prosecutor to send the file to DPP for advice.
Meanwhile, Eze was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition and the result of DPP advice.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that if DPP eventually declares Eze culpable, he faces trial and be found guilty, he will spend up 10 years in prison for the alleged offence.
