Man, 38, Arrested For Allegedly Stealing N15m Company’s Toyota Hilux

A 38-year old man, Damilola Adebisi, has been arrested and charged in Lagos State for allegedly stealing a Toyota Hilux worth N15m property of Milontech Limited in a popular hotel.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened on 7th April, 2025, at Ferrari Hotel, located on Kushoro Street, Papa Ashafa, Agege area of Lagos.
According to the Police, the suspect went to the hotel, stole the vehicle belonging to the company as represented by Adebiyi Bolaji and escaped.
The matter was reported to the Commissioner of Police Tactical Team. The operatives moved into action, eventually arrested the suspect and detained him at the Command for interrogation over his alleged conduct.
After rounds of interrogation,  the Police found him culpable and charged him before the Ogba Magistrate Court for the alleged offence which attracts several years of imprisonment.
The charges read:
“That you, Damilola Adebisi ‘m’ and others at large on the 7th day of April, 2025 at about 0245hrs at Ferrari Hotel, No. 8 Kushoro Street, Papa Ashafa, Agege area of Lagos, in the Ikeja Magisterial District, did conspire amongst yourselves to commit felony to wit: stealing and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under Section 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.”
COUNT II:”That you, Damilola Adebisi ‘m’ and others still at large on the same date, time and place, in the aforesaid Magisterial District, did steal one Toyota Hilux 2011 model with chasis number AHTEX129909503207 and reg No. APP 465 YK valued Fifteen million Naira (N15,000,000.00) property of Milontech Limited and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 280 and Punishable under Section 287(10) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.”
However, he pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Supol Matthew Akhaluode, asked the Court to give a date for hearing since he pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that he actually committed the alleged offence.
The Presiding Chief Magistrate, Mrs. O. Kusanu, granted him bail with two sureties, who must show evidence of means of livelihood and tax payment while addresses will be verified by the Court.
The matter was adjourned for mention while the defendant was remanded in custody at the correctional center at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending when he will perfect his bail conditions.
