Man, 39, Who Engaged 3 Daughters In Marathon S*x Remanded

A 39-year old man, Sunday Julius, who had been sleeping with his three daughters aged, 16, 11 and 10, for the past one year has been remanded in Correctional Centre in Kirikiri town, Lagos State.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the man was charged before the Court by the operatives of  the Gender Section of the Police Command after the victims revealed to the Police what they had been going through over a period in the hands of their biological father.

The incident happened at Olasheu Street, Alimosho area of Lagos, where they reside.

The Police alleged the man, Julius, had between August 2020 and July 2021, been defiling by having sex with the victims one after the other and warned them not to tell anyone about the dastardly act.

However, the matter later leaked after the victims revealed and it was reported to the Police in the area. He was then arrested and transferred to the Gender Section of the Command.

After investigation, the Police found Julius culpable and then charged him before the Ogba Magistrates Court for the alleged offence, which attracts life imprisonment if he is tried and found guilty before the Court.

However, the Court did not take his plea after the prosecutor, Ajayi Kehinde, asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O.A. Ajibade, ordered his remand in custody pending the outcome of the DPP’s report and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP.

The matter may likely be transferred to the High Court if the DPP finds him culpable and recommends his trial for the alleged offence.

The matter was adjourned till 3rd September, 2021, for the report of the DPP to be available while the defendant will remain in custody over his act.
