A 40-year old man, Ibrahim Mohammad, has been arrested in Lagos after he allegedly lured an 11-year old boy and forcefully penetrated him through the anus and injured him in the process.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened on New Year day, 1st January, 2020, at Eshibaye Street, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos, where they reside.

It was gathered that the suspect, Mohammad, allegedly lured the boy into his apartment and forcefully removed his trouser and pant. He then brought out a cream, which he robbed in his manhood and penetrated the boy through his anus in order to satisfy his sexual desire before he allowed him to go.

The boy left, was bleeding from his anus and then told his parents what happened. The matter was reported to the Police at Ikeja Division and the boy was taken to the hospital for treatment while the suspect, Mohammad, was arrested and detained at the station.
At the Police Station, he reportedly confessed and told Police that he preferred having anal sex with small boys and never intended to injure the boy.
Having been found culpable by the Police, he was charged before the Ogba Magistrates Court for statutory rape and sexual assault which attracts several years of imprisonment if he is tried and found guilty before the Court for the alleged offence.
The prosecutor, Mr. Christopher John, asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice because the victim was still a minor.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mr. P.E. Nwaka, ordered Mohammad to be remanded in prison custody without an option of bail and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP for advice.
The matter was adjourned till 13th February, 2020, for report of the DPP to be available while Mohammad will remain in prison pending the outcome of the DPP’s advice in order to determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that after the incident, the boy was still in shock over the traumatic incident.
