Man, 40, Remanded In Custody For Sexually Assaulting Girl, 10

A 40-year old man, Samuel Isaac, has been arrested and charged in Lagos State for allegedly sexually assaulting a 10-year old girl by putting his dick in her buttocks. 

 

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Oseni Street, off Lawanson Road, Surulere area of Lagos, where they reside.

 

According to the Police, the suspect lured the victim to his apartment and sexually molested her by putting her dick into her buttocks before she raised alarm which attracted other neighbours.

 

The matter was reported to the Police in the area and the suspect was arrested and transferred to the SCID, Yaba, for further investigation over his alleged conduct.

 

After rounds of interrogation, the Police found him culpable and consequently charged him before the Yaba Magistrate Court for sexual assault under the Criminal Laws of the State.

 

However, he pleaded not guilty.

 

The prosecutor, Supol Thomas Nurudeen, asked the Court to give a date for hearing since he pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that he actually committed the alleged offence.

 

The Presiding Magistrate, Mr. P.E. Nwaka, granted him bail with two sureties, who must show evidence of means of livelihood and tax payment while addresses will be verified by the Court.

 

The matter was adjourned for mention while the defendant was remanded in custody at the correctional center pending when he will perfect his bail conditions.
