Man, 41, Arrested For Luring 10-Year Old Girl Into Sex

A 41-year old man, Sam Francis, has landed in trouble for sexual assault after he cornered a 10-year old girl and attempted to lure her into sex by touching and fondling sensitive parts of her body.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Femi Ayantunga Crescent in Surulere, Lagos, where they reside.

The police alleged that the suspect, Francis, returned from work, lured the 10-year old victim into his apartment and tried to lure her into a sex romp. He was said to have touched the sensitive parts of her body including her breasts in order to arouse and confuse her but she resisted, raised alarm and informed her parents about what happened.

The matter was reported to the Gender Section of the State Police Command; Francis was arrested and detained for interrogation.
During interrogation, he admitted that he touched her but did not have any sexual contact with her.
However, the police found him culpable and charged him before the Ogba Magistrates court for sexual harassment on the 10-year old victim.
He pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Mr. Christopher John, did not oppose his bail when he was arraigned before the court.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mr. Peter Nwaka, granted him bail in the sum of the N200,000 with two sureties in like sum who must show evidence of tax payment for three years.
He was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect the bail condition. The matter was adjourned till 10th January 2019.
