Man, 43, Arrested For Killing Court  Registrar Who Went To Serve Court Summons

Pollice operatives from the Adamawa State Command have arrested a 43-year old man, Linus Dimas, for allegedly stabbing a Court registrar, Yauba Usman, who went to his house to serve him Court summons and he died in the process.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Kugama Wuro Jibir, Mayo Belwa Local Government of the State.
This was disclosed by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Nguroje, who confirmed the arrest and detention of the suspect undergoing interrogation over his alleged conduct.
The image maker explained that the incident happened on 18th December, 2023, after the victim went to serve him the summons to appear before the Court over an undisclosed matter.
He stated that the suspect rejected the Court summons served him from Yauba Usman, a staff of Nasarawo Jereng Area Court and severally stabbed him with a knife thereby inflicting deep cuts on him.
He was said to have bled profusely and was immediately rushed to an undisclosed hospital, where he was confirmed dead and the corpse was deposited at mortuary for autopsy report.
He stated that the State Commissioner of Police has directed that the case be discreetly investigated and the suspect will be charged before the Court after the conclusion of investigations by the Police.
