Man, 45, Arrested For Defiling 11-Year Old Girl

A 45-year old man, Mr. Musibau Asinde, has been arrested by men of the Ogun State Police Command for having unlawful carnal knowledge of an 11-year old girl (name withheld) in Ibese area of Ilaro.

The suspect was arrested following a complaint from the mother of the victim, one Mrs. Idowu Riskat, who reported that she sent her daughter on errand at about 7.30 pm on 5^th of June, 2018, only for the girl to return from the errand very late. Upon her return she complained that she was lured by the suspect with N100 note into his apartment where she forcefully had carnal knowledge of her.
On receiving the report, the DPO Ilaro Division, CSP Opebiyi Sunday, led his men to the residence of the suspect where he was promptly arrested.
On interrogation, the suspect confessed to the commission of the crime but blamed it all on the devil.

The victim has been taken to Ilaro General Hospital for medical attention. P.M.EXPRESS learnt from the PPRO Ogun State Police Command, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, that the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Iliyasu, has ordered that the suspect be transferred to the Anti Human Trafficking and Child Labour Unit of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence department for proper investigation and prosecution.

CP Ahmed equally advised parents to desist from sending their children out at night especially the female ones in order to save them from this type of animals in human skin.
