Man, 51, Fondles Breasts, Lures Girl, 13, Into Sex

A 51-year old man, Ukpai Ugwu, has been arrested for allegedly luring a 13-year old girl into sex romp by fondling her breasts and getting her confused.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Community Avenue, Irawo area of Ikorodu, Lagos where they reside.

It was gathered that the suspect, Ukpai, reportedly lured the victim into his apartment when his family was not around, used words of mouth to hold her before he moved his hands to her breasts and got her aroused before he penetrated her.
The victim, having realised that she was penetrated, became angry and claimed that she was raped because she did not consent to it.
The matter was reported to the police and the suspect was arrested. He was later transferred to the Gender Section of the Police Command for investigation.
During interrogation, it was discovered that the victim was reportedly lured into his apartment, her pant was removed and she was penetrated before she later regained her senses.
The police found Ukpai culpable because of the age of the victim and charged him before the Ogba Magistrates Court for the alleged offence.
The court did not take his plea and ordered him to be remanded in prison custody without an option of bail.
The prosecutor, Supol Benson Emerhi, told the Court that the victim was a minor and would require the DPP advice to determine where the matter will be tried.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O.Sule-Amzat, ordered the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP for advice while the defendant, Ukpai Ugwu, will be in prison custody pending when the DPP’s report will be ready.
The matter was adjourned till 17th July, 2019.
