A 55-year old man, Aminu Yunusa, who allegedly prefers to have anal sex with male partners especially young boys, has landed in trouble in Lagos State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that Police operatives arrested the suspect after he allegedly grabbed one Abubakar Musa, tried to force him into anal sex and he raised alarm, which exposed him and was then handed over the Police for sexual assault on the victim.
The incident happened at Railway compound in Ebute Metta area of Lagos, where they reside.
He is now to face trial over the alleged sexual assault on the victim, which attracts several years of imprisonment if he is tried and found guilty before the Court.
The Police alleged that the suspect, Yunusa, held the victim, Musa’s manhood and was trying to sleep with him before he raised alarm. He was then arrested and taken to Railway Police Division in the area for interrogation.
During interrogation, it was discovered that the suspect had done same and slept with young boys including male adults in similar situation.
Having been found culpable, he was subsequently charged before the Ebute Metta Magistrate Court for the alleged offence and he pleaded not guilty.
Then the prosecutor, Inspector Cousin Adams, asked the Court to give a date for the Police to prove that he actually committed the alleged offence.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O.A. Erinle, granted him bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum.
He was remanded in Correctional Centre at Kirikiri, Lagos, pending when he will perfect his bail conditions before the trial would commence while the matter was adjourned till 9th August, 2021.
