A 56-year old man, Lawal Taiwo, has landed in trouble in Lagos after he was allegedly caught having sex with his neighbour’s 10-year old girl.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Ajibawo Street, off Agbado Road, Iju-Ishaga area of Lagos, where they reside.
It was gathered that the suspect, Taiwo, lured the victim into his apartment, removed her pant and forced his dick into the victim’s private part.
However, it leaked as neighbours suspected the victim’s movement into the apartment. When confronted, the victim revealed to her parents how the man, Taiwo, reportedly lured her into his apartment and engaged her in sex.
The dastardly act was reported to the Police at Isikoko Division; Taiwo was arrested and interrogated over the act.
The man was said to have initially denied his involvement before the victim was brought and she narrated how he committed the act to the Police.
Having been found culpable, he was later charged before the Ogba Magistrates Court for the alleged offence. The Court did not take his plea after the prosecutor, Supol Ezekiel Ayorinde, asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. B.O. Osunsanmi, ordered him to be remanded in prison custody without an option of bail.
He was remanded in prison custody pending the outcome of the DPP’s advice and the case was adjourned till 23rd March, 2020.
