Man Acts As Robber To Have S*x With Lady At Night

A 26-year old man, Isaac Ayoka, has been caught in Lagos after he allegedly acted as an armed robber at night, sneaked into his female neighbour’s apartment in order to have sex with her and was caught.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Ikota area of Lagos, where they reside.

The suspect, Ayoka was caught and subsequently  charged before the Ebute Metta Magistrates Court for attempted rape and assault on the victim who was traumatized over the act.

According to Police sources, the suspect broke into the lady’s apartment, held her on top of her bed, removed her pant and attempted to penetrate her but she refused and resisted him.

He then used his fingers to inflict injuries on her neck in order to inflict fear into her and persuade her to submission. But she raised alarm and when he attempted to escape, he was caught and he confirmed that he came to have sex with the lady disguised as a robber.

He was handed over to the Police at SCIID Panti, Yaba, for investigation and he was found culpable during interrogation. He was then charged before the Ebute Metta Magistrates Court for the alleged offence.
He pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Mr. Raphael Donny, asked the Court to give a date for the Police to prove that he committed the alleged offence since he pleaded not guilty.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O.G. Oghre, granted her bail in the sum of N250,000 with two sureties in like sum.

 The defendant was remanded in Correctional Centre pending when he will perfect his bail conditions.
The matter was earlier adjourned till 15th September, 2020, but further adjourned as the Court was unable to sit over the Covid-19 lockdown in the State.
