A 25-year old man, Promise Patrick, has landed in trouble after he allegedly used fake alert to play Naija Bet Lottery in Lagos.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Disk Street off Dorcas Street, Ejigbo area of Lagos, where the lottery office is located.
Police operatives from Ejigbo Division led by CSP Olabisi Okuwobi, have arrested the suspect, Promise.

At Police Station, he reportedly confessed that it was a fake alert that he had sent.
He was later charged before the Ejigbo Magistrates Court for the alleged offence and he pleaded not guilty. The prosecutor, Supol Kenneth Asibor, asked the Court to give a date for hearing to enable the Police prove that the defendant actually committed the offence.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mr. E.O. Ogunkanmi, granted him bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum.
He was remanded in the correctional centre pending when he will perfect the bail conditions.
The matter was adjourned till 12th August, 2020, while the defendant will remain in custody pending when the Court will release him.
