Adefemi Arrested For Sleeping With His 3-Year old Daughter

A 32-year old man, Olusegun Adefemi has been arrested by the police for allegedly sleeping with his 3-year old daughter in Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that this happened after the mother of the victim abandoned her in her father’s custody and left their matrimonial home with her two other kids.

The incident happened at Ijede area of Ikorodu where the suspect resided with the kids.

The arrest of the suspect followed after their neighbours who the victim had told what her father did to her severally. The police was contacted; the officers went to the suspect’s house and rescued the victim.

When the police examined the victim’s private part, it was discovered that she had been serially defiled and had sustained injuries because of forceful penetration by the suspect. Thus, the police arrested the suspect and transferred him to the Police Command Headquarters in Ikeja, Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered Adefemi denied the allegation but the victim testified before him how he had abused her severally. The suspect was paraded among the other suspected criminals arrested by the Commissioner of Police, Lagos Command, CP Imohimi Edgal.

When our correspondent interviewed Adefemi, he still denied doing so but admitted that the victim’s private part was tempered with, yet he was unable to explain who did it. He narrated that the victim’s mother abandoned their kids, left and since then he had been taking care of them alone. He said he was surprised when the police came to his house, arrested him, he denied the allegation and yet nobody believed him.
The Lagos Police boss said Adefemi will be charged to court for defiling the little girl. Meanwhile, the victim has been rescued and kept in safe custody where she was undergoing treatment because of the injuries she had sustained due to forceful penetration.
