The husband, Mr. Primie, claimed that he did not intend and willfully kill his wife who was the mother of his children; as such he did not commit murder.
P.M.EXPRESS scooped that the couple had disagreement at home over an undisclosed matter which led to exchange of words between them.
It was in the process that the husband became angry, slapped Hope and she slumped. She was rushed to the hospital but before the doctor could attend to her she was already dead. The corpse was deposited at the mortuary. It was gathered that the news of the incident spread in the neighbourhood that it was the husband that assaulted her which led to her death.
