Man Docked For Inserting Finger Into 5-Year Girl’s Private

A man, Emmanuel Ikeh has landed in trouble after he was arrested for allegedly inserting his finger into his neighbour’s 5-year old girl’s private part.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Adeyinka Adedoyin Street in Ijegun area in the outskirts of Lagos where they resided.

Residents wondered what would have been the attraction for the suspect from the little girl by engaging in such act.

The matter was reported to the police, Ikeh was arrested and charged before Ikeja Magistrates court which ordered his remand in prison.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that Ikeh’s journey to prison started after the victim reported to her parents what he did to her when they were not around. She reportedly told her parents that Ikeh lured her to his apartment, closed the door, removed her pant and put his finger inside her private and she was watching him. She was asked not to tell her parents after he had satisfied himself and allowed her to go.

However, the victim revealed everything to her mother, the matter was reported to the police, Ikeh was arrested and detained. At the police station, Ikeh insisted that he did not penetrate her but only touched her private.
He was charged for indecent assault.

He pleaded not guilty.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O. Sule-Amzat granted Ikeh bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum.
The prosecutor, Inspector Benson Emuehi did not object to his bail condition.

He was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till 20 May, 2018.
