Man Docked For Tricking Teenager Into Sex Romp

A 34-year old, Tobilola Mustapha, has been arrested in Lagos after he allegedly tricked a 13-year old girl into his room and had sex with her.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened on at Jolac Agoshasha Street, Alakuko area of Lagos where they resided.

Police source said that the suspect targeted the teenager when her parents were not around, returned to the compound in the afternoon and lured her into his apartment. He was said to have talked to the victim, touched her body including her breasts and she lost consciousness before he took her to bed. He defiled her and then allowed her to go warning her not to tell her parents about it and she agreed.
However,  when the teenager regained herself, realized that she had been defiled, she felt traumatized and informed her parents about what happened.

The matter was reported to the police at Alakuko Division; Mustapha was arrested and detained at the police station.
During interrogation, he admitted that he slept with the victim but he did not force her as being alleged. But the victim claimed that he deceived and forcefully defiled her.
Considering  the age of the victim, the police found him culpable and charged him before Ogba Magistrates court for defilement.
The prosecutor, Mr. Christopher Donny, asked the court to use its discretion if the defendant will be granted bail.
However, the court did not take his plea; the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. B.O. Osunsanmi, ordered him to be remanded in prison custody. The court also ordered the prosecutor to duplicate his file and send to DPP for advice.
The matter was adjourned till 24th September, 2018, for the report of DPP to be available.

P.M.EXPRESS confirmed that the case of defilement was a serious felony and if the DPP finds him culpable, he is tried and found guilty, that he may be handed up to 15 years imprisonment.
