Man Fondles Breasts, Lures Girl, 19, Into Sex Romp

A 19-year old (name withheld) was allegedly lured into sex romp when she became confused after her breasts were fondled in Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Olowoporokun Street in Mafoluku area of Oshodi, Lagos, where they reside.

The man, one Kunmi Adeyemi, has landed in trouble after the romp as the victim alleged that he got her confused and penetrated her without her consent.

The suspect was said to have lured the victim and used words of mouth to hold her before he fondled her breasts, she lost consciousness in the process and he allegedly raped her.
Thus, she went to the police station in the area, reported the alleged rape and Adeyemi was arrested. He was later taken to the Gender Section of the State Police Command.

P.M.EXPRESS scooped that during interrogation that Adeyemi admitted that he penetrated her but it was with her consent while the romp lasted.
However, the victim denied that she consented to the romp and alleged that she was raped.

The police found Adeyemi culpable and charged him before the Ogba Magistrates Court for sexual assault on the victim by penetrating her private.
He pleaded not guilty.

The prosecutor, Inspector Christopher John, asked the Court to order the file to be sent to the DPP for advice in order to determine if the matter was actually a case of rape.

Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mr. Peter Nwaka, ordered the defendant to be remanded in prison custody without an option of bail.
The court also directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP for advice.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that if the DPP finds him culpable, the matter may be transferred to the High Court and the defendant will face rape charge and trial there.
If he is eventually found guilty after the trial, Adeyemi will have to spend several years in prison custody for the alleged offence. He was remanded in prison custody pending the outcome of the DPP’s advice.
