Police operatives from Area G Ogba Command in Lagos have arrested a 32-year old man, Azeez Alabi, who poured his feaces inside the canteen of a food seller and scared away the customers who went there to eat.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Adebiyi Street, Ogba area of Lagos, where the canteen is located.
He was charged before Court for conspiracy and malicious damage over the act and remanded in prison custody.
It was gathered that the suspect, Alabi, with others now at large had a disagreement with the food seller, Happiness Donatus, over an undisclosed matter.
To punish the woman, Alabi reportedly poured the feaces inside the canteen and assaulted her before the matter was reported to the Police.
Alabi was arrested and after interrogation was found culpable. He was later charged before the Ogba Magistrates Court for the alleged offence and he pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Mr. Christopher John, asked the Court to fix a date for hearing on the matter since he pleaded not guilty for Police to prove that he actually committed the offence.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mr. P.E. Nwaka, granted him bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.
He was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail conditions. The matter was adjourned till 9th January, 2020.
