Sequel to the crucial meeting held on the 3rd September, 2019, between the National Administrative Council of NURTW led by its President Alhaji Tajudeen Ibikunle Baruwa and the Lagos State Chairman led by its state Chairman Alhaji Tajudeen Agbede, the Lagos State Exco was dissolved while a caretaker committee was put in place under the chairmanship of Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya (MC Oluomo).

Rounding up the crucial meeting, the new President, Baruwa, warned the members that the era of thuggery has come to an end and he will not allow any act of hooliganism in the union. He further emphasised that anybody caught in any act of hooliganism will be dismissed from the union and handed over to the appropriate law enforcement authority.
