MD/Founder Of Biogold Nigeria Ltd Honoured With United Nations ECOSOC Ambassador For World Peace (AMBP-UN) Award

Amidst pomp and pageantry on 3rd October, 2024, Abiodun Kayode Fawumi, the Managing Director of Biogold Nigeria Ltd, an Indigenous dredging and oil and gas company, was awarded the prestigious Ambassador of World Peace by the United Nations ECOSOC Peace and Positive Living Awareness Center.
This distinguished honour was in recognition of Abiodun’s exceptional contributions to promoting global peace, sustainable development, and social harmony through his visionary leadership at Biogold Nigeria Ltd and the world at large.
The award was presented during the 2024 World Peace Day held at Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industries (LCCI) Main Auditorium, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.
At the event, Abiodun was celebrated for his commitment to fostering peace, corporate social responsibility, and ethical business practices. His leadership is characterised by his ability to inspire and empower his team to strive for excellence. He also fosters a culture of collaboration in his company, where each team member is encouraged to contribute their unique skills and insights. His strong belief in continuous learning and development ensures that Biogold remains at the forefront of industry advancements, delivering the best solution to clients.
Abiodun equally believes in giving back to the community and actively supports initiatives that promote sustainable development, education and environmental Conservation. He has done this through his Media Company, Eko City Media Group (EkoCity Magazine, EkoCity TV & Digital Platforms).
