Meet Ebuka Peters: The Young Professional Changing The Face Of Entertainment PR

Ebuka Peters, widely known in Nigeria’s entertainment industry as EP Of Lagos, is fast establishing himself as one of the most connected and results-driven figures in entertainment public relations.

A talent manager and senior public relations specialist with over a decade of experience across movie, music, event marketing and corporate PR, Ebuka has built his career at the intersection of media strategy and talent representation.

Based in Lagos, Nigeria, his career is distinguished by his ability to secure high-value media placements for the artists and brands he represents. At the peak of his campaigns, he consistently secured over 50 media leads a month in top outlets including Nigeria’s most prominent magazines, newspapers and blogs.

Among his career milestones, he holds the distinction of being the first publicist to place singer Seyi Shay on the front cover of ICE Magazine, a landmark moment that helped cement his standing as a publicist capable of delivering premium media exposure.

From Cornell Media To Achievas Entertainment

Ebuka began his professional journey in 2011 as a Senior PR Specialist at Cornell Media Consult in Lagos, where he developed and implemented public relations policies in collaboration with sales, celebrity endorsement, and customer service teams.

In this role, he supervised an external communications team responsible for securing media leads across Nigerian and international outlets, with a 100% success rate in meeting departmental project milestones.

From 2015, he moved into media agency consulting, working with Itel Mobile Nigeria to design and execute PR strategy around product launches and celebrity partnerships. There, he led a project team in building a social media relations strategy for a new lifestyle product line that grew the brand’s Facebook fan base from 20,000 to 500,000 followers in just three months, while gaining an additional 300,000 Instagram followers in four months.

Since 2019, Ebuka has served as Senior Marketing and Communications Specialist at Achievas Entertainment, one of Nigeria’s leading event and entertainment companies.

Across his engagements, he has overseen PR budgets ranging from N5 million to N30 million and helped clients grow annual sales by as much as 50%.

Education And Drive

Ebuka holds a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Human Kinetics and Health Education from the University of Lagos (2010).

He furthered his expertise with a specialization in PR and Media Marketing through Harvard Business Review (HBR) Online Courses in 2020, and a certificate in Pursuit of Excellence in Leadership from the African Leadership Development Centre (ALDC), Covenant University, in April 2025.
