The Chapel Hall of Chapel of Christ The Light, located at IPM Road, C.B.D., Secretariat Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos, witnessed an usual crowd comprising dignitaries from all walks of life on Saturday 26th October, 2019, as the Men of Light Fellowship held their Annual Anniversary Banquet.
The event, which commenced not minding the rain, had dignitaries on the red carpet before marching into the well decorated Chapel Hall.
After the opening prayer by the Presiding Chaplain, Very Rev. Ayo Olu Oyadoyun and the opening but brief speech by the President, Men of Light Fellowship, Bro Peter Omokaro, it was fun, fun, fun and more fun.
The event was spiced up with cultural displays and performances by different musical groups and dancers.
High point of the event was the dancing time by Men of Light Fellowship and their wives, which excited the dignitaries present.
The Annual Anniversary was rounded with the celebration service on Sunday 27th October, 2019, with the theme “Grace For Excellence In Leadership.
The Celebration Service also provided the ambiance for the investiture of new patron and patroness as well as induction of new members. The Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC South West), Chief Mrs. Kemi Nelson, was also honoured at the service as the Patroness of the Men of Light Fellowship.
In her remarks, Chief Mrs. Kemi Nelson expressed her appreciation for the opportunity to contribute her quota in God’s kingdom and thanked the Men of Light Fellowship for honouring her.
The Chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, Bishop Dr. Olushola Ore, did justice to the message of the day as he threw light on all round leadership and our responsibility backed by the grace of God.
