Mgbiligba Oyi Supports 2023 ‘Ogbunike My Hometown Essay Competition’, Doles Out N. 2m

An illustrious son of Ogbunike, Chief Chukwunonso Anachuna, popularly known as Mgbiligba Oyi na Omabala, has voted  N200,000 to bankroll this year’s edition of Team Make Ogbunike Great TMOG, Ogbunike My Hometown Essay Competition slated to commence today March 11 to 22, 2023.

 

Team Make Ogbunike Great TMOG has consistently organized events specially  designed to enlighten, educate and inform ndi Ogbunike about the need to create a better society that we all will be happy to live in. The short essay competition is to encourage and reward excellence in their ability to tell their story convincingly.

Speaking on the sponsorship commitment, Chief Anachuna, CEO of Ebby-Oyi Fashion Outfit, said that he believes in investing heavily in youths in order to prepare them for future challenges in the Ogbunike’s quest to achieve fast tracked development.

 

He said: “As a responsible citizen of this great town Ogbunike, my company, Ebby-Oyi Fashion Outfit, is delighted to announce that we will support this year’s edition of the essay competition. We are here to demonstrate, through this support, our commitment to the development of Ogbunike, our hometown”.

 

“Moreover, through this support, we have shown our belief in laying a solid foundation for the town’s youth empowerment and development through a consistent re-awakening of youth’s interest in the affairs of Ogbunike.”

 

“With a good grasp of Ogbunike’s historical background, our youths will be better equipped and positioned to lead the leadership revolution that will permeate every facet of the community. That’s the guiding philosophy driving Ebby-Oyi Fashion Outfit partnership with TMOG on this project.”

 

The Coordinator of Team Make Ogbunike Great, TMOG, Dr. Chuma-Odili Harris Udoka FCMsp, who expressed the readiness of the association to host both the essay competition, noted that the support of Mgbiligba Oyi and other great sons of Ogbunike has been invaluable to the modest achievements recorded over time by TMOG.

 

TMOG had earlier announced Mr. Chukwuma Onunkwo, Mrs. Joy Odinye and Nze Valentine Ugo Akpeh Onwuka as official members of the Jury, OGBUNIKE MY HOMETOWN ESSAY COMPETITION 2023.

The ‘online-media’ essay competition is open to all sons and daughters of Ogbunike within the age bracket of 21 to 50 years. Prizes to be won include but not limited to a very good Smartphone, Fifty thousand Naira cash, and Award  plaque/trophy.

The approved date for commencement of this exercise is March 11, 2023 and final submission of the essay is on March 18, 2023. The result will be declared on TMOG WhatsApp platform on March 22, 2023.

All written assays should be published on the TMOG WhatsApp platform, ensure that the Jury is tagged, you can also submit your essay to nanmedia2021@gmail.com.
