Theparkpay Technologies Limited, a leading cross-border payments company, has launched a new digital application that opens its payment infrastructure to individuals and businesses worldwide.
The company says the app is designed around one promise: to help users keep more of their money when sending, receiving, and spending across borders.
According to Theparkpay, moving money across borders has often been slow and costly, with multiple intermediaries adding fees and delays at each stage.
The company notes that people and businesses across Africa lose value simply transferring their own funds — whether it’s a freelancer paid in dollars, families sending support home, or importers paying suppliers in China, Dubai, and other markets — due to poor rates, hidden charges, and payment rails not built with them in mind.
Theparkpay says it was built to close that gap. The fintech firm says it is not starting from zero. The company holds licences across 4 major continents. Most recently, it secured a Payment Service Provider, PSP, licence in Canada, one of the world’s more demanding regulatory environments.
“For customers and partners alike, that is the difference between a promising idea and infrastructure you can build on with confidence,” the company stated.
With the new app, Theparkpay is making its full infrastructure available directly to retail and business customers. Users can send, receive, hold, and spend across borders in more currencies and corridors, with rates designed to maximize value retained by the customer.
The company describes the app as clean, fast, and borderless — turning infrastructure built over years into an everyday tool.
“We did not set out to build another payment app. We built the rails, earned the licences and opened the corridors first, so that when we came to the public, we could offer something most cannot: real reach and real value, kept in the customer’s hands. This is only the beginning,” said Chukwuemeka Akujobi, Director, Risk, Compliance & Enterprise Growth at Theparkpay Technologies.
Theparkpay’s goal is to become the simplest and most competitive way for people and businesses to move money in and out of Africa and across the world.
With corridors established, licences secured, and the app now live, the company says its next phase is scale.
The company is positioning itself to serve the next generation of financial players, with an experienced executive team and what it describes as strong business foundations.
Theparkpay is a fully licensed fintech company providing secure, compliant, and innovative cross-border payment solutions for businesses and individuals.
Through advanced payment infrastructure and a strong regulatory framework, the company enables seamless global commerce, enhances liquidity management, and simplifies international payments across more than 170 countries and over 80 currencies.
The company says it is committed to building trusted financial infrastructure that empowers African businesses to participate confidently in the global economy through fast, secure, and transparent payment solutions.
