Monthly Environmental Sanitation Exercise Holds On Saturday 28th October Across Anambra

Residents of Anambra State have been informed that the usual and reinvigorated monthly environmental Sanitation exercise will hold on Saturday October 28th 2023.
According to Mr. Mike Ozoemena,
MD/CEO ASWAMA, the exercise will hold simultaneously in all the communities in Anambra State within the hours of 7am – 10am, and no form of vehicular or human movement will be tolerated within these hours.
Transition Committee Chairmen (TCC) of various Local Government Areas have been enjoined to ensure proper mobilization and compliance in their areas.
“Furthermore, Ndi Anambra are urged to participate fully in the exercise; clean their surroundings, desilt water channels, and properly deposit their wastes at liter points closest to them for adequate collection and disposal by the waste management contractors.”
“This is a once a month opportunity and residents of Anambra are enjoined to join hands with the Soludo led administration to actualize a clean, green, and livable and sustainable Anambra for all” the
MD/CEO ASWAMA said.
