MultiChoice’s Caroline Oghuma Wins PR Manager of The Year

Caroline Oghuma, Executive Head, Corporate Affairs, MultiChoice Nigeria has been named winner in the PR manager of the year category in the Brandcom Awards.

The awards is designed to be the most credible and prestigious platform recognising, rewarding and inspiring agencies, brands and individuals in the marketing and communications industry in Nigeria.

The 2019 Brandcom Awards winners were announced on Friday, May 24 at an event which took place in MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos.

For over a decade and a half, Caroline has been instrumental in shaping the reputation of organisations.

Prior to joining MultiChoice, she had worked at MTN and Stanbic IBTC. She joined MultiChoice in 2014 and has proven to be a ‘people person’ always.

As the Public Relations Manager, MultiChoice, Caroline increased publicity for the company by 50 per cent under six months.

She has also sustained decreased negative publicity for the brand by 25 per cent by instituting ongoing product and brand education for the media as well as launched customer engagement for and attained increased customer understanding of the MultiChoice’ self-help and electronic payment platforms.

“I am deeply honoured and grateful to have been chosen as the PR Manager of the year. I’d like to express my sincere thanks to the communications team who made this happen. Also, I’m grateful to Brandcom for the recognition” said Caroline.

The Brandcom awards is the climax of BrandcomFest, positioned to be the largest gathering of stakeholders in the brand and marketing communications landscape, which caters to the most contemporary trends and topical issues in the industry.
