My ‘Most Valuable Persons 2025’: No. 06 – Mr. Emmanuel Owabor

He is an IT guru and a highly resourceful techie. His face may not be too familiar among the Progressives, but he is one of us. He likes working behind the scene. Those who are close to our sagacious and amiable Chief Femi Fani-Kayode may have come across this very brilliant dude and witty brother of mine from Delta State. He is by name Emmanuel Owabor, and he sits gidigba on No 6 among those who shaped the outgoing year 2025 for Yours Truly.

 

Mr. Owabor and I have met on several projects in times past, having met sometimes in 2022 on a project tagged AKA2023 for Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency. A movement that campaigned rigorously for the candidacy of Hon. Akinjide Kazeem Akinola (A.K.A), a retired captain of the Nigerian Army.

 

Beyond project A.K.A, Mr. Owabor has constantly ensured that he carries me along on other projects. Each time we have discussed, even up till yesterday, he has always said, “We must grow together. It is only when all of us are self-made that we can see ourselves as all successful.”

 

Mr. Owabor is a definition of “ènìyàn bo ‘ni lára ju aṣọlọ”. Anyone who can remember you on a project that will increase your disposable income is an asset, a wherewithal that MUST be TREASURED! I therefore thank Mr. Emmanuel Owabor for being a destiny helper.
