My Political Special Effects On Your Day, Digar!

The political juggernaut, astute leader and master strategist, Comr. Sir Ezenwafor Jude Digar, Special Adviser/Assistant on Political Affairs to Gov. Willie Obiano. The man, who invited me home to join develop Anambra, one who marketed APGA to me abi initio. 

You see, back in the days, those of us ndi Anambra in Lagos, who were involved in SouthWest politics, had little or no regards for APGA. We had believed that APGA was a Village Union meeting platform, until His Excellency Peter Obi mounted the stage, and sold the party to every Onye Anambra. Majority of Ndi Anambra in Lagos never considered enrolling in what was then adjudged as a “minor” political party. APGA, the political party that eventually swept away the majors, till date poses a hard nut to crack. Contrary  to unpopular opinions, speculations, innuendos, gerrymandering and public shows, sincerely, it was Chief Ezenwafor Digar who pulled me into APGA.

The ex- PDP Officio, Chief Ezenwafor Digar, rose from Special Assistant on Youth Affairs to the former Governor of Anambra State, Dr. Mbadinuju, to become the State Chairman of once great party, the Labour Party (LP). He was instrumental to the growth and developments of some latter days politicians in Anambra State. During his days as the Labour Leader, he was quite resourceful, a very powerful person, and hugely influential in Anambra. Chief Ezenwafor singlehandedly sold the idea of joining APGA to me. Digar, wanted the best for me, but never had the opportunity to get the job done. And now….. I’m proudly a prodigal son of OJUKWU’s party; the ndaboski of roforofo politics of uwa ntorr, the ijiji eji nma achuyari 1of Anambra. 

Today is Digar’s birthday, friends, beautiful people let’s say nice things to my cousin, my blood for life. May God bless his days on earth!
