The National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, National Headquarters has commended Hon. Abdulganiyu Vinod Obasa for his outstanding commitment to educational development and the improvement of learning conditions across his Local Government.

In a statement signed by Comr. Ajao Adejoke, Director of Finance, Logistics and Special Duties, NANS said the lawmaker’s interventions have directly impacted thousands of pupils and students at the basic education level.

According to NANS, Hon. Obasa’s administration has recorded significant strides in infrastructure and student support within a short period.

“Under his leadership, 17 blocks of classrooms have been renovated, providing safer and more conducive learning spaces for pupils,” the statement noted.

The student body also highlighted the commissioning of 7 public Nursery and Primary Schools as a clear demonstration of commitment to expanding access to quality basic education in underserved communities.

Beyond buildings, NANS noted that Hon. Obasa has distributed writing materials to pupils, a move aimed at easing the burden on parents and supporting learners in their academic pursuits.

NANS described the interventions as proof of leadership that understands the link between education and national development.

“These interventions reflect a leadership that understands that investing in education is investing in the future,” the association said.

“NANS National Headquarters recognizes and appreciates Hon. Abdulganiyu Vinod Obasa for making education a priority and for consistently placing the interests and future of students at the heart of his service.”

The association added that meaningful investments in education deserve commendation, stressing that quality learning environments, access, and learning materials remain critical to producing a generation that can compete globally.

“Education remains the foundation of a prosperous society. We urge other public office holders to emulate this example,” the statement concluded.
