The Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Dr. Aminu Maida, has charged the staff of the telecommunications regulator to uphold the constitutional functions of the authority to create a Nigerian telecommunications industry that is of the highest possible standard in all areas.
Dr. Maida interacted with members of management and staff of the Commission at the ongoing NCC Operations Staff Retreat on “Organizational Renewal through Operational Efficiency” in Abuja.
The retreat took place from March 4th to 8th, 2024.

The NCC boss placed special emphasis on providing services to stakeholders in the telecommunications industry as this will put the Commission in an advantageous position to discharge its constitutional functions efficiently and effectively.
Dr. Maida told staff at the retreat: “Your role in the Commission’s work is critical to the implementation of our strategic focus areas to ensure better Quality of Experience (QoE) for consumers, promote the growth of the telecommunications industry and to improve their resilience. At the same time, we provide our licensees with excellent regulatory practices.”
