The Ondo State-born Adesida said that she got married some years back but her husband sent her away and took custody of her child. She said that since then she was lonely and needed a child to play with.

However, the police found her culpable upon arrest, detained her and rescued the baby.

He promised that the police will continue to do their best to ensure that properties and lives were protected in the state. He warned parents to take care of the children in view of the teenagers arrested in connection with cultism and stated that he had declared war against cult activities and other criminal offences.
