As Nigeria Football stakeholders count down to a new date of 30th September 2022 for the NFF election arising from the AGA held in Lagos yesterday the 18th of August 2022.
The PFAN task force has come out with a strong position that the September 30th 2022 election is only feasible if amendments are made to relevant sections of the NFF statute to accommodate equal and fair representation in the composition of the Executive Board, Congress and sub/standing Committees of the NFF.
“No serious football playing nation would leave the future of its football in the hands of this current set of grossly incompetent states F.A chairmen, not with the trauma, agony, disgrace, and emotional torture Nigerians went through in the last eight years.
“It would be another inglorious and disastrous journey if the current structure of 37 states F.A chairmen reproduce themselves as a new NFF Executive Board. The footballers’ bloc dully represented by the PFAN task force will never allow that to happen. There is no rocket science in the amendments that can be done in one sitting. The time to rebuild our football is now,” Harrison Jalla, Chairman of PFAN Task Force declared emphatically.
