Top police officers across Nigeria in brainstorming session to find long-lasting solution to Nigeria’s security woes at the Lagos retreat held recently.

When the Nigeria Police held a conference and retreat for the senior police officers between 28 and 30 October, 2019 to “repositioning the Force for the challenges of effective policing in the 21st century,’ with the aim at “dissecting the dynamics of crime and forging strong networks toward tackling prevalent and emerging crimes in the country,” the venue, the Eko Hotels & Suites on Victoria Island was a beehive of activities with the nation’s top cops gathering to brainstorm to solve the problems of insecurity across the country.

The Conference and Retreat was an innovation of the Inspector Nigeria of Police (IGP) Muhammed Adamu and sponsored by the Lagos State Government. The Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo was there to represent President Muhammadu Buhari.

Also in attendance were local and international policing and security experts, senior officers and heads of other strategic formations of the Nigeria Police Force and other stakeholders in internal security management. The conference was coordinated by the Force Public Relations department and Matchmakers Consult International.

The three days were indeed moments of history for the country’s Police because of the success recorded at the retreat. P.M. EXPRESS brings the thrilling moments of the retreat in this photo news.
