Two of Nigeria’s exciting young football prospects, Raheem Moyinoluwa Salaudeen and Fawas Ayomide Adeleke, are attracting increasing attention from football agencies and clubs across Europe following their recent call-up to the Nigeria U-17 National Team.

The talented midfielders became two of the major talking points of the Italian Consulate General U-20 Football Tournament Cup 2026, organized by Rudder Sports Management, a Nigerian-American sports management and player development organization committed to creating international opportunities for young African football talents.

Following the tournament, both players were shortlisted among selected talents expected to travel to Italy for preseason matches, exposure programmes, and potential trials with clubs. Opportunities are also being explored in the Netherlands as part of their football development pathway.

Interest has also emerged from ZodiacPro Agency, a football talent management agency based in Barcelona, Spain, which specializes in player development, mentoring, training, club placement, and international football opportunities. The agency has reportedly shown interest in monitoring the progress of the two Nigerian youngsters as they continue their development.

In addition, scouts and representatives from several European clubs are believed to be monitoring the progress of the duo, with discussions linked to development pathways in Spain and other top football nations. Interest has also been associated with opportunities connected to elite football environments, including the renowned La Masia system and clubs competing at the highest level of European football such as Manchester City.

Raheem Salaudeen and Fawas Adeleke recently earned promotion to the Nigeria U-17 National Team and are among the players invited to begin preparations for upcoming international competitions.

The duo are expected to be part of Nigeria’s preparations in China next month as the team intensifies preparations for the WAFU B U-17 Championship Qualifiers.

Their rapid rise highlights the quality of emerging Nigerian football talent, and with growing interest from European agencies and clubs, both players appear set for exciting opportunities on the international stage.

As they continue their development journey, Nigerian football followers will be watching closely to see how these promising young stars progress with the national team and in their pursuit of professional opportunities abroad.
