Nigerian/American journalist and singer, Deba Uwadiae, is set to celebrate his 60th birthday with a new single, Mo 60.

Scheduled for release on Sunday, April 7, 2024 on all digital streaming platforms, Mo 60 is a birthday song targeted at any individual coming into the diamond age.

Produced by Ohio, US-based Theo Jonah, Mo 60 is a danceable track that is bound to excite birthday celebrants for a long time. It is a song of celebration, jubilation and dedication to the creator for keeping an individual alive till 60.

“Mo 60 is a celebration song for anyone attaining the age of 60 and appreciating the honour and favour of Almighty God in their lives. It is my own way of thanking God for keeping me alive despite the vicissitudes of life, Uwadiae said.

In his remarks after listening to the song, Tosin Ajirire, an entertainment journalist and music critic, says: “Mo 60 is a tapestry of dynamic vocals, rhythmic chorus and compelling instrumentation that will send the listener or birthday celebrant straight to the dance floor. A timeless work of art, the classic Afro-highlife tune will be around for as long as people celebrate birthdays.”

Aside being a musician, Deba Uwadiae is also the publisher of New Americans magazine and author of Coming to America: Early Life in America and Citizenship.
