Two young Nigerian footballers currently in the United Kingdom, Raheem Moyinoluwa Salaudeen and Fawas Ayomide Adeleke, have expressed appreciation to the National Sports Commission, NSC, for the prompt payment of their travel allowance following their trip to Algeria.

In a joint message from the UK, the players said the gesture demonstrates the Commission’s commitment to the welfare and development of young Nigerian athletes.

Raheem and Fawas said the timely payment of their allowance means a lot to them and reflects the NSC’s consideration for athletes representing Nigeria.

“Greetings and appreciation from the United Kingdom  to the National Sports Commission. Thank you for your continued support and for always putting the welfare of athletes into consideration,” they stated.

They noted that the prompt payment shows that the Commission values and supports young talents carrying the Nigerian flag abroad.

The duo thanked the NSC for its commitment to the welfare, support and development of young Nigerian sportsmen and women.

They described the gesture as encouraging and reaffirmed their gratitude for the Commission’s efforts in promoting and supporting emerging talents.

The players pledged to continue to make Nigeria proud in their football careers, noting that athlete-focused policies like this motivate them to do more for the country.
