The National Secretariat of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) has put all necessary arrangements in place for members to begin their online registration for the year 2018.
The SWAN Secretary-General, Olawale Alabi, in a statement issued in Abuja, urged members in the state chapters to begin the registration process so as to facilitate early release of cards.
“It is a process the national leadership initiated late in 2016 to make it easier for members to register and collect their national Identity Cards as well as secure monies generated from the exercise.
“By February of 2017, it had replaced the old process which had not allowed us to have a national register of members. Since we did that, we have recorded tremendous progress.’’
The process entails members or intending members completing the registration form on the Association’s website, www.swannational.com, and paying the sum of three thousand five hundred Naira (N3,500) into the Association’s account (0086947977) at Diamond Bank.
