Despite the CHAN Eagles losing the final game against Morocco 4-0 , Samira Ktiri, a lover of Nigerian brand of football and the Director of Marketing and Development, Kenzi Solazur, the hotel where the Super Eagles lodged in Tanger, Morocco,  has said that the team won so many hearts in Morocco with their style  of football.

According to her,  the Super Eagles only lost on the field of play, but they in some other aspects as they demonstrated strong African values that endeared the people of Morocco to the team all through the tournament. This, she said showed that Nigeria is a country that is not only rich in football, but in other values that build strong relationships.

” Well, for me the Nigerian team did not lose because they played so good . It is a good team and of course  with the  football , there will always be a winner. Losing to Morocco did not necessarily meant they lost all because they had the opportunity to be the second in the tournament,” Samira Ktiri said.

Ktiri, who has been following Nigerian football for many years,  said that Nigerians are very lovely people and she is so glad to be associated with Nigerians in Morocco and she looks forward to welcoming Nigerians to her world any day.

” Nigerian are very lovely , lovely, lovely people . I am very happy for them and I  wish the Super Eagles all the best. In Tanger, the Nigerian team and their officials were very friendly and nice to everybody.

“They were like families and not guests throughout their stay in Tanger and that is the reason I had to lead other fans of the Nigerian team to Casablanca to watch the final where they lost to Morocco, but I will never remove the fact that Nigerians are very lovely people,” she said.

Morocco is waiting on standby to host the 2019 Africa Nations Cup (AFCON) , if Cameroon fails to meet all the standard requirements to host the tournament , which is having 24 teams participating for the first time.
